Your work-at-home business needs a genuine business plan

Today, I'd like for you to think about your business and marketing plan.  You do have one, right?  Your business and marketing plan should define what it is you're selling (and why), who exactly you're selling it to and how you plan to sell it.  Business is business, and even a home-based enterprise needs to have a well-conceived business plan that includes each of those elements.  Do you have a plan that could entice an investor, or show others the benefit of being affiliates for the products and/or services?

A common mistake that most people make with Internet Marketing fail is that they work backwards!  First they find something to sell. Then they try to figure out how to sell it.  When that fails, they try something else.  That backward approach leads to frustration and empty pockets, every time.  The problem is that they have a buyer's mindset and they're searching for something out there on the information super-highway that holds the “secret” key to others buying it too.  And 95% of the people out there are buying it... from someone with a plan to sell it to them!  Understand?  Those with a business mindset are selling to the other 95%.

Now here’s something that will take you from the 95% group and put you into the top 5% almost instantly. Drop the “buyer” mindset.  Stop thinking about what it is that you want (you already bought it) and start thinking about what your target audience wants and needs.  It's about them and what they want.  That's the mindset you need to earn money online.  But first... you need a plan!
