Don't let other people steal your dreams

Isn't it time to start taking positive steps towards living your dream lifestyle?  Of course, it is!  So here's an important tip that can help:  Do NOT listen to your dream killers. What the heck is a dream killer? A dream killer is somebody who tells you that "you can't"or that "it's not possible."  These are usually the people closest to you, by the way - i.e. friends and family.  It's that nagging person (or voice) that says, over and over again, "If it sounds too good to be true, than it probably is."  Excuse my french, but what a load of crap!  Do you want to know who says that?  Only two kinds of people buy into that phrase: 1) Those who have no dreams  2) Those who have dreams, but will never accomplish them.

Here is a tip when trying to decide who and what to listen to in regards to trying to create an extra income from home or online. You may want to write this down because it will guarantee that you never listen to a "Dream Killer" again.  If the person giving you the advice is not successful, or is not living the life of their dreams, then don't listen to them. Why in the world would you ever take financial advice from somebody who was not financially independent themselves? I used to get it all the time from my family and friends. "Boy that looks very good, but if it sounds to good to be true..."  Usually they would leave it open like that. I know they always meant well (and that's true), but the real truth is, those that were saying this to me were either broke or nowhere near achieving my financial or lifestyle dreams. Why then should I even be listening to these people?

Whether something is "too good to be true" is a question that each individual has to answer personally. Think of it this way; if Michael Jordan (arguably the greatest basketball player that ever played) told his friends and family in high school that he would be the greatest basketball player of all time, most would have said 'dream on'. Or, would have supported him as a family member or friend, but would have had serious doubts. Afterall, he did get cut from his high school team! But he had goals and worked his tail off to reach them.

My point is that people let comments and attitudes get in the way of their dreams when they could have realized them so many times by actually listening to those who were living their dreams and not wishing for them.  So if you want some good advice, then here it is:  NOTHING is impossible if you are determined to achieve it, you get the knowledge and you you put that knowledge into action in a consistent and persistent manner.  What you desire may not come 'quickly', but when it does it will come in large quanties.  Then the dream killers will have something new to say.  After all your hard work, sacrifice and ultimate success... they will start telling you how 'lucky' you are.

MLM is back and better than ever

Remember all the stigma and negativity that used to be attached to MLM? Remember how your friends and family would react when they learned that you were getting involved with yet another 'pyramid scheme'? Well, guess what. 79,000,000 (yes, million!) Americans plan to start their OWN businesses in the next 3 years, according to Forbes Magazine.  Who can blame them? And the great majority of these brand new business people will do it through a Network Marketing/Direct-Sales model. It's because of the Internet, which has revolutionized the industry.

In fact, both Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki recommend the Network Marketing industry in their latest book: "Why We Want You To Be Rich." Trump even has his own network marketing company! Trump and Kiyosaki both say that if they had to do it all over again, they would build their fortunes in THIS industry. Oh! I almost forgot, Warren Buffet also bought a half dozen or so Network Marketing companies in the last few years. Why? Because the business model flat-out works, that's why, and the Internet vastly increases it's power.

What's more, in Trump and Kiyosaki's book "Why We Want You To Be Rich," they dedicate an entire chapter to it! (chapter 25). This is the only business model they wrote a WHOLE chapter on!  That is why any affiliate plan that you promote online should have an MLM-style structure to it.  And it's also why I recommend Global NPN for all of the basic tools that you will need to promote anything on the Internet.  Not only does this company provide a wealth of business tools and training for next to nothing, it's also a powerhouse MLM in it's own right.

Check it out for yourself.

Do Traffic Exchanges really work?

The answer is definitely yes (if you're doing it right).  But for most people, the answer is no... because they're doing it wrong.  For example, trying to sell your 'biz op' in Traffic Exchanges by promoting your affiliate page is doing it wrong.  Oh, you might get a sale here or there, but you will waste thousands of hours that could have been spent far more productively.

If you are promoting in Traffic Exchanges (TE's), remember that you are marketing to other marketers.  They don't want to join your program.  They want you to join their's!  So what's the point, right?  The point is that you can sell in the TE's but you need to be selling something that other marketers actually want.  And what they want is information that helps their business.  The other thing that they want is a plan and a system for succeeding.  If what you have to offer is both a plan and a system that others can use, THEN you can sell your 'biz op'.

The other thing that you should be doing in the TE's is building your list.  This takes effort because you must understand how to put your AR code into a squeeze page and (of course) you will have to create a letter series for your subscribers to read.  It goes without saying that this series must offer value.  But what gaining subscribers through TE's does for you is effectively take them out of the TE and put them in front of your message on a consistent basis.  But remember, you can only get opt-in subscribers by offering other surfers something they desperately want and need in exchange for their name and email address.  So remember that.  Instead of using your traffic credits to promote one affiliate program at a time, use those credits to gain a subscriber. Then you can promote as many different affiliate programs as you want to your list.

It's repeat business.  Two of the biggest mistakes people make with traffic exchanges are advertising generic affiliate pages and not capturing the names and emails addresses of your visitors.

This is what you need...

* Highly Effective Lead Capture Pages
* Autoresponder
* Follow-Up Email Series

How to double your productivity

One of the biggest challenges that we face when growing our online business is how to be super productive, day after day.  It's vitally important to get the most done in the shortest amount of time.  But when it seems like everyone is bombarding you with information it can often feel hard to get anything done!  In fact, information overload and huge 'must-do' lists are what burn most people out.  It's so easy to get completely overwhelmed and then give and quit.  It's a real problem. Which is why I think the resource to the left is a must for anyone wanting to quickly build an online business.

Time management is crucial with a home-based business - especially if it's online. If you want to DOUBLE your productivity and get more done (starting today) then I'd highly recommend this.  I actually bought it for myself and consumed the whole thing in one sitting.  Remember, you can always make more money, but you can't make more time.

How to stop struggling and start profiting

Do you know why most people who try to make a living on the Internet eventually give up and quit in complete frustration? I'm talking over 90% of people who ever try!  The reason isn't that it's too hard, or they're not technical geniuses, or that they're 'stupid.'  None of that is true.  The BIG reason is that most of the products out there claiming to help people learn how to set up an Internet business are absolutely worthless.  Sad, but true.  But I've found something that isn't junk. It flat-out actually WORKS.

Auto Affiliate Income

You won't have to work yourself to death, you won't have to invest a single bit of your hard-earned income to make it work, and you can be started as a complete novice (and that's important).  And in case you're wondering, it has nothing to do with any "fad" or gimmick. It's not "black hat" or shady in any way either. It's just a system that one stealth marketer figured out, based on what works in the real world.

I know you're frustrated. Most people trying to find a way to earn money online are. And it's easy to get completely overwhelmed by information overload, or suckered by junk that doesn't work.  We've all been there.  But don't lose hope. The Internet has made it easier than ever to stop grinding in a job you hate, working to make somebody else a pile of money while you use up the best years of your life.  If you want to stop struggling and start profiting online, then this system is for you.

Check it out... before they raise the price.

How are MLM leads like ketchup?

They're not, really.  But refilling my ketchup bottle made me think of mlm leads and online mlm overall. Either way, it prompted me to write this story!

Last weekend, I noticed that my upside-down squeeze bottle of ketchup was almost empty.  So I decided that it was time to go and get a bulky refill.  I picked one up yesterday and (since I had used the last squeeze) decided to refill it while it was on my mind.  You’d think that someone like me, who is always talking about having an effective sales funnel would have an actual funnel in my house… but I don’t.  Anyway, trying to put ketchup into the useful squeeze bottle reminded me of pointing online leads to a good mlm affiliate program.  So I opened up this huge bulk container of ketchup (think mlm prospects) and got ready to start refilling and then... I got stumped. How was I going to do this? This was not very well thought out.  That’s when I got a tablespoon and started scooping - a little bit at a time.

After a few sloppy scoops of glopping ketchup all over my kitchen counter I realized that I should take my own advice about generating mlm leads and apply it to my efforts here.  I mean, what a joke this spoon-scooping action was! It took me forever to refill that thing!  Seriously.  Of every spoonful I tried to pour into the squeeze bottle more than half of it fell back into the bulk thing – which I was leaning over to try to keep from making an even bigger mess.  In other words, I knew want I wanted to happen, but I just couldn't figure out how to get from A to Z.  That's when I started thinking about Global NPN.

How many Internet Marketers are still trying to put new prospects into an affiliate program that isn’t very appealing, costs too much or is run by shady, fly-by-night characters who never last?  MLM leads aren’t ketchup. I know that. They’re people who need help. I hope you think of it like that too.  These (often very bright and ambitious people) are individuals who are going through the same thing that you are. They don’t want a sales pitch. They want a promise and a program that they can believe in.  But trying to recruit large numbers of people into a questionable program (or trying to put them into a GOOD one, without having a plan and a system) is just like my experience with the ketchup refill.  No matter how hard you try, you'll ending up making a mess of it.

So what do you need first?  A funnel!  Sales funnels can take many forms.  Take this blog, for example.  It certainly qualifies as a sales funnel.  But your lead-capture system is only partially ready with an incomplete follow-up system, and even less ready without a training program and tools for the people who do join your business.  For everything that you do online, you need a plan and a system.  You also need an affiliate plan that your prospects can feel good about joining.  With those two concepts in mind, you can be a success... and you be metaphorically glopping ketchup all over the counter.  In short, work smarter - not harder!  And my advice is to do it with Global NPN.
