Inside the CIA On Company Business Part 1 - The History [VHS]

Inside the CIA On Company Business Part 1 - The History [VHS]

This fizzy musical was a Broadway smash in 1962, and boy, is it a product of its era. Executive washrooms, gray-flannel-suit businessmen, hip-swinging secretaries--they're all preserved in the movie's brightly colored amber. J. Pierpont Finch (Robert Morse) is the window washer who climbs the corporate ladder in a few days, guided by a how-to book. The Frank Loesser songs are great fun, the Bob Fosse dances are very clever and mod, and the gaudy set design may have given Andy Warhol a few ideas. The jack-in-the-box performance of the elfin Robert Morse doesn't seem toned down from his Tony-winning stage turn; think Mickey Rooney doing Jerry Lewis. Still, Morse is a unique presence, and his mad little solo dance down a real Manhattan street is an interlude of sublime daffiness. Grand old crooner Rudy Vallee shines as the president of Worldwide Wicket, barking his beloved alma mater's fight song: "Groundhog! Groundhog!" --Robert Horton

How to find a legitimate work from home business

There is a huge number of people desperately searching for additional income for themselves and for their families, and more and more of them are turning to the Internet in the 21st century in their search.  The problem is that clever scam artists know this and have been preying upon newcomers for years now.  That's too bad, because it's caused a lot of people to become jaded and/or afraid to try again.

But basically, here are a few things to remember when viewing a website, reading a publication (or ad) or even talking to someone on the telephone about a potential business opportunity:

1. How hard are they trying to sell you?  Any message that tries to rush you, such as 'Pre-Launch', 'Last-Chance', 'Get in Now', etc. speaks for itself.  The product, service or company should sell itself in an understated way.  Pushy sales tactics should push you in another direction.

2. Is the company just another me-too biz op?  Seriously.  Does the world really need another web-host or energy juice from the South Pacific?  Check and make sure that what you're getting into isn't simply a knock-off product of something that is already far more established.

3. How much value does the product really have?  In other words, will people want this?  For example, if the product has samples and people will take them, then you're on the right track.  It might sound too basic, but please remember to sell something that people actually want!

4. Does this company have a solid, proven, and duplicatable marketing system that fits your needs?  This is really important, especially online.  The more road-blocks that are removed for you, the faster you will see results.  A good marketing plan should come complete with quality training, affiliate pages, scripts, hosting and so on.

At the end of the day, it's really just common sense.  That's why I always recommend Global NPN for newcomers to Internet Marketing.  It's got all the basic tools that you will need (and all in one place) and it's an established, self-contained business itself... without all the hype.

Laurel & Hardy: Big Business [VHS]

Laurel & Hardy: Big Business [VHS]

The plot is simple. Stan and Ollie are trying to sell Christmas trees in sunny California. They knock on the door of the grumpy Finlayson, who is in no mood to be bothered by pesky salesmen. From this modest start, the movie builds perfectly. Small misunderstandings grow to total war.

Home business scams (located in the 'legitimate work from home' section)

Earning money online has a very strong appeal, especially if it sounds easy.  There are many home business opportunities that can be found today on the Internet, and that's because part time work-from-home ideas are being sought after more than ever.  But be careful.  You know the saying, 'If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is'?  Online, it should say, 'If it sounds too good to be true, it definitely is.'

Legitimate home-based businesses require hours (at a bare minimum) of learning new technology, training and systems and will require at least 'some' capital investments, even if it's only $50 a month.  But, yes, you do have to spend a little money in order to earn online.  But more than that, you will also need the proper mindset and marketing knowledge to truly achieve online success - and that doesn't come quickly or easily.  Think about it.  If it were super easy to get rich online (and do it overnight), then everybody would be rich!

But if you are willing to learn and refuse to quit, you truly can build a home-based business with very little expense.  With persistent effort, and only part-time hours, you can learn the marketing skills that have the potential to transform your life!  If you're just starting out, I wish you well on your new Internet Marketing adventure.  But before you waste thousands of dollars and lots and lots of time, get started with a REAL business opportunity that is cheap and just happens to include all of the tools that you will need to further your online career.  For this, I recommend Global NPN.  They already have built-in marketing systems and your sponsor should be able to offer additional help and advice to share with you.  So don't get scammed and don't get suckered in by all the hype.  Get involved with something real and then you've got a legitimate shot at online success.
